Author Topic: Problem with New Brick Textures (Read 543 times)

Whenever I install new brick textures, I still see the default ones.
Here's what I do:
1. I download the new textures.
2. I move the default textures to a secure location.
3. I put the new textures in C:\Users\<MY NAME>\Documents\Blockland\base\data\shapes\
I then get onto Blockland, and I still see the default textures.
And yes, this is on MY server, no someone else's. I'm not an idiot.

Also, I'm not setting the new textures to read-only.
Reason:
Whenever there is a Blockland update and you have files set to read-only, Blockland just acts like crap.

How do I fix this WITHOUT setting the new textures to read-only.

No it doesn't. Do research better.

1: Don't use launcher
2: Use UCA

Good, it's an add-on.
I was hoping that it wasn't computer software.
I already have too much crap!
Only 37.7 GB is free of the 465 GB that my computer can hold on its memory.
My dad downloaded a bunch of crap that he says is needed for a bunch of stuff. But I see no purpose in the stuff.
One example of crap that my dad says is needed for other stuff: Apple Software.
What do I need Apple software for on a Windows computer?

Just setting your new textures to read-only is SUPER easy and causes no problems as far as I know, it is way quicker to setup then user content alpha.

Some people just don't want to for an idiotic reason.
Maybe just because someone who they trust told them not to, for the same reason <<
