I bought it and I really, really did not like it.

With the poor optimization and the fifteen thousand hurdles you have to get over to play a server with your friends, I must say the best thing out of buying Arma II for Day Z was Arma II

Ew, damage of a DMR but it's bolt action so it's not that good.
Honestly a DMR is a better trade

I can understand your opinion and yes it has poor optimization but I literally cannot understand what these "hurdles" you speak of are?

Playing on a server with friends is extremely easy, literally the hardest thing you have to do is find them. That's hard for a reason though, because there's some strength in numbers and it would be ridiculously cheap to just be able to start next to 8 of your friends in Elektro.

dmr has a forgetstuff scope. you can use it in night time, and it has variable zoom, but the zeroing on each notch is awkward

and also, m24 is my favorite gun anyway. accuracy is 100% up to 1000 meters, even if the zeroing is less. dmr has slightly worse accuracy.

Lol rocket was completely ripping on F2P ideals with game transactions and stuff and talking about how bad it was. Why would it go F2P with micropurchases?

depends. read extrudes thread if you can find it. he banned a few people for having hacked weapons without proper proof. there's also rules somewhere on the forums.

Yes, I wouldn't really say "allowed" but more along the lines of you can't get in trouble or anything.

I myself have a G36C camo, AS50 TWS, and a supressed Makarov (no idea how I got this, some server turned my M9 supressed into it). It's cool because it takes regular makarov ammo and sounds different than any other supressed gun hehe.

I'm sorry but the second I find an AA12 hacked in, I am going to take it and rain death with HE shells.
