Author Topic: Sudden decline in FPS rates, HUDs won't hide, and chat doesn't work properly.  (Read 1287 times)

Okay, what the heck is this? I've only encountered this problem once before the update was out and now I get it every single time I start a server, single-player or public.

My obscenely low FPS is caused by this problem and I'm sure of it because it never happened before(by before, I mean when I played in single-player servers to test the enviornmental stuff).
Notice how the paint, box, and item slots are out? I set them to hide in the options. Obviously, they didn't.
Also, when I type something in the chat without pressing enter, the text ends up near the center of the screen. And when I press enter after typing it, the chat message doesn't appear!

That's all I can find, and if there's actually more, oh god...

Console log coming up in my next post (Launcher is finished as I type this). How do you get your computer specs?

It crashed before it even went to load the datablocks.
Also, it's not letting me. It's too large for an attachment.

Upload to filesmelt or mediafire.
You probably have too many addons and need to reinstall anyway

Will Dropbox work?
I don't see why it wouldn't?

How do you get your computer specs?
Windows vista / 7: open start menu, search dxdiag and press enter.

Windows xp: open run, type dxdiag and press enter.

Either type out both system and display tabs or provide screenshots of it.

Alrighty then.

Holy forget, update your drivers.

here or here.
The "Let me google that for you" site doesn't work because for some reason I can't connect to Google. Also, I didn't even find anything Intel-driver related on the Microsoft download center.

while you're on the subject of updating your drivers, why don't you run a virus scan?

I tried Malwarebytes. Nothing came up.

NOEDIT: I'm going to bed. Hopefully there's more helpful comments when I wake up.
