Not having a bike lock has made me an expert at finding stuff in walmart quickly and getting the hell out.

It's a common thing at NC State for people to pull one of the wheels off their bike and take it into their class with them instead of using a lock. Every time I went to visit my gf there the edges of the buildings looked like a bike junkyard.

get some bolt cutters and cut it
This is how people steal bikes in Finland pretty much. Then they sell them and steal again...

I assure you that's only NC state, because I've never seen that at UNCG, WF, UNC, or even in Charlotte.

oh my god are you loving kidding me

lets break this down

1. First letter is L

Great! we're down to 4 letters we have to find.

2. Second letter has to be a vowel

There's only 5 of those.

3. Third letter could be S

Okay.

4. I think the fourth letter was K

Uh huh

5. The last letter is either Y or S

Okay.

So is there only like 5 letters a pop, or is it 26 letters per ring?

it looks like you're gonna have to deal with 5*26*26*26 possible combinations.

You have hints for all letters, so lets narrow that down to, what
5*1*1*2
that's 10 loving combinations

get to loving work you lazy bugger

I've cracked dozens of these forgeters while bored in the hardware department at a home-loving-depot.

Try everything.

Ok, none of the last 10 combinations worked, thought there is only 10 letters per ring, so that may help.
