Telar's mech program has hit the V1 stage! Using a titanium frame and armor of the same material as the NIR's infantry armor, Telar has been able to keep costs reasonable. Equipped with two shoulder 55 call miniguns, 2 shoulder grappling devices, 12 shoulder rockets, forearm spikes (batman style), a flamethrower, and able to carry a large gun similar to the Erinamese microwave gun, it's about as good as Telar can mass produce right now. The feet can also deploy wheels to increase speed, and it has an ejection system which will eject the roosterpit should the mech be on the verge of destruction (the ejection system can also be activated manually). One more bonus feature is, due to its light weight and the hard work of Telar's engineers, limited aquatic capabilities. They are easily deployed from any of Telar's 5 Floating Fortresses, or almost any ship with sufficient deck space. V1 below (or something close anyway; picture the miniguns, spikes, flamethrower, a larger shoulder that opens up to 6 rockets on either side, and gun. Then you have something that's 95% there or so.).
Telar's super pig program has been extended to experimentation on marine animals. Dolphins, whales, squid, and jellyfish all experienced results similar to those of the pigs, iguanas, and orangutans. The first super iguana died of natural causes. The program is being suspended because there's no money in it for the Teleri government. (No metagaming, but its actually just freaking out the Teleri people and being relocated to where they won't notice or care).
