Author Topic: Recording Software For Blockland  (Read 960 times)

Is there a recording software that wont put me from 100 fps to 15 fps in a New York minute?

As far as I can tell Fraps is the best there is when it comes to balancing efficiency and quality.

I was hinting at fraps.

livestream's procaster can work as a recording device but you have to livestreaming the entire time.

I don't think this belongs in off topic. Also, fraps.

Bandicam. It has less of a performance hit than fraps for me.

recording software is a funny thing. you only get the good stuff if you pay for it...

I recommend Fraps.

If you're looking for free, WeGame.

you can get more FPS on fraps if you increase the FPS setting and turn on the "Half-size" setting.

i use quicktime, but it's unreliable. my school uses camtasia and it's quite good.

Camtasia isn't that great for video games.

Nope.

Bandicam.

The only difference between trial and paid is a watermark that's not that big, and a 10 minute recording time. I believe the fraps limit is 30 seconds. Besides, Bandicam is better software in general. There's way more recording options, and the performance hit is smaller.

i wouldn't know, i've only used it for tutorials. It's a hell of a lot more solid than quicktime or fraps though.

I can totally agree with that.
