Author Topic: Lego Universe Petition  (Read 2265 times)

Now that I think about it, why didn't they make it F2P?
They could have at least made some money out of it right?
They opened a F2P zone to get more players, and I think we all know how that worked out…

The problem was that they made the game for kids, but in the same time made a loving subscription fee.

Because kids have credit cards and go to work, or each of their parents will pay an additional something every month for a lego game.

I like how on the Lego Universe Website it says

"Lego universe has been shut down for good"

SHUT DOWN FOR GOOD.

Its like they are insulting me.

Anyways. I have a crapton of the Lego Universe Models ass LDD files.

Subscription fee was tremendously high

My brother loved that game.

wow :/.

Free=/=money.

F2P (usually) = The ability to buy content with real money to make the game more fun/make your character look better
Hats

waitwaitwait, they shut down Lego universe?

waitwaitwait, they shut down Lego universe?
You're kidding, right?

waitwaitwait, they shut down Lego universe?
Yes. Personally it was a piece of stuff with no required user creativity.

i remember a few months ago the weekly forum degenerate posted a thread with a petition to "save" lego universe

oh kidplasma
i am not surprised

So, the facts simply are that even if we wanted to bring LEGO Universe back, we couldn't. There are no staff to design it, develop it or maintain it. The project has ended.

Sorry everyone, LEGO Universe will not return!

I looked around on the website, which brought back old memories. While you don't have lego universe anymore, atleast you have old gems like Supersonic RC. Nostalgia, anyone?

Oh god I remember that game.

In Elementary school when someone's work was done they could go on the computers (which had Windows 98 installed on them) and play that game. Everyone would play it. I was the only kid who would go play other games like Spybotics or Lego Racers.

Stupid Lego Universe

I bought it with MONEY and when I was on my trip in CA I went to a lego store and It was free. I thought it would be and good so I decided to go back on when I got back. When I logged on my loving LEVEL 2 PARADOX WAS GONE MOTHERloving ASS GAME IT TOOK FOREVER TO GET THERE I THOUGHT IT WOULD STILL BE THERE I ALSO AND PIECES OF LEVEL 3 CLOTHING AND WEPS ON And then I heard it was going to be shut down forever then I got mad and deleted it a never want it back.

It's done. The game is stuff and should not be brought back.

It was a fun game.
I particularly liked doing the intensive goals to get rare minifig items that resembled real life classic LEGO bricks. The building was fine I guess, but it was more fun killing bad guys with neat looking lego-ized weapons.
