I do think creating a place for furry chat like the pony thread is a good idea, but I also agree with what Jerkface said about always having to see it on the front page of off topic.

I've never really had a problem with always seeing a thread that I dislike on the front page everyday, it's not like I have to click on it or stare at that single line of text for hours.
