Is your football regular football as in 11 on a field?
Also, different schools have different stuff. I went up against this school who thought they were really cool and rich, and every player on the field had the plays on a notecard strapped to their arm. the coach just yelled out a color and a number and everyone was able to check what play it was, they were obviously too cool for a huddle.
Huddles and plays can be different too. I don't think there's many plays that are the same for different schools, coaches like to keep things their own so the other team doesn't know what they're up against.
And breaking it down in a huddle decides on what position you are. I was a Right Guard which was pretty easy because our players, an example is

This is 881 35 Power.
To break this down, I'm (describes Me) is the right guard, X is center, you see Half Back and Full Back. On hike, I pull to the left. I go into the 5 hole, seeing 35. We divide the space between a blocker in numbers, to the left of the X is 1, to the left of the Left Guard is 3, and the other linebacker is 5. I run to that hole.
The other numbers, 881, is for the X Y Z Receivers. I don't really know much about that stuff, but I don't have to worry.
It's good to know what your team mates are doing, but mainly focus on what you're role is. If you're like the Quarter Back you might wanna step up your go, but if you're just a linebacker or a Guard, or even a center, don't worry. Hope this helps.
