Maybe you are your great-great-great grandfather!!!

THE PLOT THICKENS
Nah, we look alike but not how i've seen it.

My G3 Grandfather was a pretty great man. He practically ran the mines and handled everything. I have his purchase book, it's really one of my most prized possessions.

or maybe he's just having dreams like any other normal person?
i mean gee whiz, i dont think i was banging megan fox in my past life.
What?

Well I've had an x-ray and seen it, so I'm pretty sure lol.
Ah yes, one could easily assume that a picture would be a solid fact, but how do you know it is REAL my dear boy? How do you know that that picture was not just a fake, a fraud put upon you by a so called "doctor"?

>mad christian raging cause people are using reasoning and common sense
jokes on you, i'm not christian.

but i know that you can't possibly know everything about death without experiencing it, and nobody here (obviously) has. i'm open to ideas.

It would suck to know that you were someone else before but never remembered anything
although remembering how you died and such might mess you up

With respect Vincent, having a dream that was relevant to your pre-existing knowledge and then vaguely recalling it 4 years later when you had deja vu (which is basically your brain short circuiting and creating an illusion) isn't the most convincing argument for reincarnation. :s

Because I know the doctors as my father was a manager at a health organization and watched over the process because I was young and scared.

Unless my family is out to make me think I'm a robot by falsifying an expensive procedure, at the aid of malicious doctors who put my health in jeopardy to complete such fraud, I can safely say thats concrete evidence I have a brain lol.

JOKES ON YOU I'm not SONIC I'm BLONIC

Shazbot mutha forgeta.

This is what i fear is to come sooner or later.

I'll let you believe what you want to believe but it was honestly one of the most powerful deja vu moments i've ever had.

well yeah but we can't be 100% sure about anything now can we? so i can safely say that you and i do not, in fact, have these so called fleshy masses of think juice.

Well in this case I'd say its pretty much 100% yes. :s

To "safely say" we don't despite all the evidence would be willfull ignorance (especially in my case) which is a common trait of the pro-religious argument. It shouldn't be.

Part of the reason I became atheist was because of how bizarre, silly, and even desperate the pro-God arguments were when I seeked intelligent discussion about the subject.

but complete nothingness would be super boring :/
do you feel anything when you're asleep and not dreaming?
death is probably like that
complete cessation of consciousness.

Yeah.

I like to compare death to being knocked out. I got knocked out and had concussion, lost several minutes of my life but it felt like seconds.

No awareness, no sense of time, no realization. Lights just switched off. Thats probably what death is, unfortunately.

Well in this case I'd say its pretty much 100% yes. :s

I would say its NOT a 100% yes. Multiple reasons, some being along the lines of: how do you know you're awake? have you ever seen an ACTUAL physical brain? how do you know that x-ray actually happened and you aren't just mixing reality with your inner thoughts and dream sessions?

Unless your an amazing lucid dreamer like myself.

Speaking of sleep, i think it's time to do that. :I

because people have had brain surgery before

Well no offense Red but that isn't actually a philosophical question. Rather you are just throwing out random conspiracies that sound almost psychotic. I know that because I have memory, and other people have memory. I have scans. You might say "well maybe it never happened and you all have false memory"-- yeah, sure, but this isn't the matrix.

I don't like how you are trying to "prove God" by undermining what has been proven. That doesn't really do anything other than make you sound mad.

I'm a little worried about your thinking, especially since you claim to hear voices from God or whatever it is you just said. There is something unwholesome about that.
