From what I've heard form people who've traveled abroad and foreigners, while the American accent isn't considered lovey, it makes most people think of someone with a lot of money and they're looking to spend. What I was told from a Swedish exchange student while we were on a field trip. British, not sure.

I keep forgetting that Americans have an accent too. Since it's just about all I ever hear I just think of it as the norm. But then I remember there's New Jersey type accents, and then there's hick accents, and then there's hill billy accents, and I guess the rest would just be considered the usual American acent

Everytime I hear someone say the German accent is superior I feel like they just have to be trying to be different. Its seriously one of the ugliest and roughest accents Ive ever heard.

I have a Mid-west accent which is considered I believe to be the neutral.
