I go mainly stock as all classes, or rather to do best around stock. Except for Pyro because you're pretty much forced to play with the 'best' weapons for the class.

my  soldiers completely stock except for the disciplinary action and my demo uses the shield and claidheamh mor so idk if those are allowed

I'm pretty sure it's allowed just not preferred. I mean if we were to have a Demo I'd like him to be a Demoman rather than a Demoknight as it's more useful, especially in Highlander where there will probably be an increase in skilled players.

My Soldier I switch between. I like to use the Reserve Shooter but when I'm playing seriously I use my stock Shotgun, my melee is also determined by how serious I am, if I'm not serious I go Market Gardener, when I am serious I go stock for that too (Mainly because I dislike all of the other melees.)

If its painted the price isn't really gonna raise unless its the awful 4.

Its its just a standard paint it really shouldn't matter when it comes to the price. you can easily reset the item to get rid of the paint.

Yeah I would be mainly using the grenade launcher to toss grenades into them but the shield and sword are good for me to take out or keep up with classes retreating due to low hp so I can take them out

also idk why but I can't use both the stickybomb and Grenades at the same time effectively
it just kinda confuses me as to which to use really so I figure to use something that gives me passive buffs instead of a weapon I won't really use.

TBH the best soldier Melee is the Disciplinary action just due to the speed boost and hidden 70% increased range

The sticky launcher is the aids cannon, as long you have it fully loaded someone is always going to get hurt.

also you can only slope jump with the shield so yeah.

Why would you swap out the sticky launcher for one of the shields in competetive play?

You're going to severly limit your efficeny as a demoman since the sticky launcher is pretty much
one of the best - (if not THE best) - weapons in the entire damn game.

Seriously it's only significant downside is it's poor performance in close-range combat where you can easily use
your grenade launcher instead.
