Jairo is now officially rich
Having a 100 dollars worth of virtual items makes you rich now?

$138

That's quite a bit TF2-item-wise

Unboxed two last crates for good measure, got a Strange Festive Backburner and some chainmail for Pyro

what are good crates to open with normal keys?

what are good crates to open with normal keys?

83 & 84 are full of Killstreak Kits with a chance of them being Spec/Pro

Anything else is just going to get you Stranges worth a couple refined, some cheap Strange Parts, or cosmetics, so it's really up to you to find which crate contains the most items you like

If you're looking to make a profit, you're probably not going to make anything unless you get a good Killstreak Kit or an Unusual because not even things like Strange Rocket Launchers or Strange Grenade Launchers are worth jack stuff anymore, unfortunately at this point you're better off just using the keys as currency if you want the most value

"Well, back to the front."

I think it's funny* that we play in a time where actually using your Flame Thrower, the Pyro's primary weapon, to kill people is often considered the "noob" way to play Pyro, and the phrase "W+M1" is now used not just to describe someone holding down those keys as it was originally intended but to encompass anyone using flames as their main source of damage

People can't kill the guy walking into them and somehow it's my fault, man I don't give a forget I gave like 8 Medics the Third Degree today I don't need the Axtinguisher

*appalling

Though you are playing the Pyro in what is considered a legitimate way, i think people are mad because of things like that, like, maybe they'd be more okay with it if it was less blindly running forward and more waiting around corners to ambush people, because it's more strategic and less noobish

The basic Pyro strategies on the Wiki even says
Quote
  • Ambush enemies to catch them in the short range of your Flamethrower. Use corners to your advantage; however, be sure that the nozzle of the Flamethrower isn't visible from around the corner.
  • Don't approach enemies head-on; they will notice you and use your short range to their advantage.
  • Approaching enemies from the back is usually a much safer and stronger route to attack. This is an especially effective method when employed with the Backburner.
  • Your Flamethrower chews up a lot of ammo. Pick up fallen weapons to refill your supply.
  • You can often set enemies on fire and retreat, leaving them to die from the afterburn.

Which would give the impression that the Pyro is meant to be played in an ambush and suprirse style, rather than a charge-in-head-first frontal assault style, and yet you only ever see Pyros charge head on into people with their flamethrowers constantly going

The problem with that is that the W+M1 play style is basically the norm at this point and is to be expected in every server you go to, and yet there are people out there who get mad at these players because they're always killed by this 'noob' strategy of W+M1 and they're just sick and tired of seeing the same thing over and over again, or they actually wish that people would just play Pyro 'correctly' and actually switch to the secondary weapon, or even the melee weapon from time to time and try and ambush people

Honestly, i get mad at these kinds of people too, but i don't get mad at them because of how they choose how to play a class, i'm mad at myself for not taking them out before they can kill me

Basically, those people need to get over it and git gud :cookieMonster:

maybe they'd be more okay with it if it was less blindly running forward and more waiting around corners to ambush people, because it's more strategic and less noobish

Believe me they're not, because that's what I do
