I must have been delirious last night from sleep deprivation because I left a server right after saying a gift hadn't appeared for me on a long time, as I was organizing my new drops I got a notification and went to go dismiss it thinking it was another stupid ring but it said "the haunted gift has disappeared!"
so I think I must have dismissed the notification saying it had appeared thinking it was merasmus coming/leaving, damn

no
there's an achievement for doing a significant amount of damage to him and another for escaping skull island (the latter gives you the dumb skull hat)
after that it's pointless and yet people will constantly bitch at you to help kill him the next 100 times he shows up
I was severely dissapointed with the ghostly gibus.
I was hoping the ghastlierest gibus would turn into one big cluster of holloween related features.
