we spent 3 loving HOURS on that single wave and gave up.

New favored scout loadout (really good in MvM)

Stock (No upgrades)
Mad Milk (Slow and max recharge rate)
Sandman (Mark for death, max ammo, recharge speed)

Really good for supporting your team against giants

By god man, upgrade that scattergun.
I can wreck Giant soldiers/other giants By myself with a krits canteen
Max fire rate/reload speed is needed. entry is nice.

I have deemed the final wave of Coaltown Control assault delete to be personally impossible

Thats actually the first Mann up mode i did.
Change your group Comp a bit.

What have i done

Basically, whenever uber medics come into play, you want to have a brass beast heavy with a kritz medic. Upgrades in firing speed, ammo, bullet and explosive resistance are important. Make them pop their uber early (make sure you've got a height advantage on them, from on top of a building) and then mow down their medics, get kritzed, and take out the big bot. Keep a few uber canteens as back up. Never have an uber medic. Always kritz.

You should also have a pyro with some resistances to airblast bots/medics away should that fail, a fully resistanced scout to pick up the money (milk to slow + sandman for minicrits) and an engineer to deal additional damage. Maybe even two engineers.

This is an ideal composition for Mann Up.

I have to say this almost every time there's a Medic who isn't me, nobody seems to understand how much more useful kritz is :(
