Really though, I'd only be happy with muted colors on smaller parts of the weapons, like the brass parts on the Bison, or the dragon head on the Backburner or something

To the picture: yeah that's been thought up a long time ago. still cool idea, I'd definitely do that.
And I'd like to paint the whole weapon, or have styles for paints on different parts of the weapon. Styles for the highlights on the brass beast or the whole thing, as an example.
