first identify your stressor, then take steps to negate its effect.  prevention is most effective.

yoga
meditation
i dunno, massages or something oop thinking of wrong kind of stress

surprisingly it sometimes works

1. Drink less pop. (Never after 3 PM)
2. Don't stay up late.
3. Don't sleep in too late.
4. Change diet to be healthier foods.
5. Take Vitamin Stress Supplement that emphasizes Vitamin C.
6. Drink more water.
7. Exercise.
8. Don't play too much Blockland, or watch too much TV.

Just a few I can think of. Dr. Jeep knows a lot about this topic. Also, the above comments are wrong. You already know what stresses you, otherwise you wouldn't be stressed. I gave you both ways to deal with it, and prevent it.

What Rave said.  Identifying your stress is the key part, and preventing it is the battle.  Once you have control over the sources of stress though, it becomes a breeze.

If he is stressed, he would already recognize what is stressing him. Otherwise, he would have nothing to be stressed about.

er, not really
i've found that in the past year i've been feeling more and more stressed and that led to a lot of different negative side effects but i didn't really notice and couldn't really trace it to a point until i realized that my parents were pushing me really hard and the environment was causing me a lot of anxiety. i had just been used to it and it started to get stressful. you don't necessarily have to know where your stress is coming from.

not true

If he is stressed, he would already recognize what is stressing him. Otherwise, he would have nothing to be stressed about.
Some people on here have a tendency to need their hand held for these kinds of things.  "how do I identify stress", "how do I ask out a girl", etc.

ha, jeep i'm doing all of those instead of sleeping earlier and not as long, because that's what's effected. i'll try some meditation

Umm
I don't know...find something to punch? Works for me when I'm down sometimes.

if you're going to meditate, make sure you get into the routine of doing it daily for 10 minutes or so

that's how it'll make a difference. not much good to you if you dont. best way to start is by downloading some "guided vipassina" meditations and putting them on your ipod.

Well, I have a stress disorder (2). Music and tranquility usually help me. Not sure of yor age, but maybe go on a drive or something. Meditating never helped me.

how long did you do it for and how often

lots of recent studies have shown how much more effective regular meditation is over relaxing music

I'm constantly stressed. I'm resistant to therapy as well, including my own. So it's hard to get help. I usually listened to music or took it easy until I wasn't stressed. That can be 10 minutes - 2 hours.

Melatonin.

Seriously take it.

I started taking it for dreaming purposes but it helps you fall asleep too.
