Author Topic: Can join a server, but won't load  (Read 784 times)

If i join a server it acts like it doesn't want to load the bar at the bottom so i can't actually play. I need some help

What does the loading bar say when it "gets stuck", and at what point does it stop moving?

It just stops right away. "Checking server for # file"

Have you tried rejoining?

you may have a broken add-on, or the server your joining may have a broken add-on, please post your console.log.

Have you tried rejoining?
Yes, about 10 times each server

No broken add-on, and how do i post it.

Your firewall may be blocking Blockland from creating/deleting/replacing files, or might not have administrative access to do so. (I think moving the folder to Documents fixed this, though)

Alternatively, check your console for any errors that might surfacing. It should show in-game by pressing the tilde (~) key, and is also open as a command prompt-style window behind the main game.

Activating the console tracer can show a wider range of what problems there may be, I believe you can do so by entering trace(1); in the console. Correct me if I'm wrong.

To add to this, you should also make sure your computer is correctly hardwired in, if your Ethernet cable doesn't support a 32-bit it could cause this problem. (Yes there are Ethernets that work in 16-bit)
