Reminds me when the hinge of my laptop broke.
So I was always opening the hinge VERRRRY slowly.
each day, another piece breaks off and i go cry about it on my other (horrible) computer.

I believe this teaches all of us a lesson today. Don't sleep with your laptop.

Anyway, you can most likely open it up and fix it.  If it's pretty bad you might be able to take it to somewhere and have it repaired. You may be paying at least $300 from what I seen. But if you have a high-end laptop then I would go for it.
