I technically own two keys. Which creates an issue of how you would ever discriminate between someone who owns multiple keys because they want to support future game updates through donation, or someone who owns multiple keys because they want to completely ignore the rules of the forum without any risk of no longer being able to post?

It's not possible. So deactivating all the extra keys someone owns because you think they will use them to register again and continue breaking rules is bound to punish people who own more keys but never intended to break the rules again.

I know you didn't say this, but it's inevitable that somebody will write it in response to you as some sort of, "solution" to this problem.

their motives for buying them were clear, so it was pretty much a preemptive strike

I'm not actually as bad as him, I just do ridiculous stuff sometimes and get banned. I do try to act as a functioning member of the community. I don't visit these forums with the sole intent of insulting and or ridiculing others.

To be honest, coding help is my home. I don't often crawl out of there. Looking at my forum statistics, an overwhelming majority of posts and time spent is in Coding Help. (Development is listed as almost 3x as frequently visited but that's the biggest load of stuff I've ever seen, I visited that board frequently for 1 day, like 2 days after v21 and I was posting answering peoples questions etc)

We've had about a hundred. Once he messaged my entire family and told them various bad things about me, truthful or not. I didn't talk to him for over a month. We eventually made up.

I think people who get banned are a good thing, its ever so amusing to quote them and watch them do it again, and Badspot makes more money to want to develop the game further.
