I tried AVG once. It was utter trash.

MSE has let me down on a few occasions. Above all, abstinence common sense is the safest anti-virus.

it's russian, so the company gets all the viruses first (because like half the viruses come from either russia or china). the program is cheap, it's quiet, and very easy to customize.
and it doesn't constantly bring up loving popups like mcafee did, and scans about twice as fast.

i never actually get viruses though because i'm not dumb

if i see something that looks dodgy i do research on it before i download it (if i intend to)

the only time i get the "VIRUS DETECTED WOOWOOWOOWOOWOO" thing is when i go on typewithme or something and it yells about a javascript exploit, which it hasn't been doing lately.

only had it say VIRUS once and thats due to an ad.
