So much this. It raises the question, are the OPs of all these dramas directed at 'forum whores' actually offended or are they just betas who can't stand the sight of a girl making love jokes to guys "who don't respect her" over the internet. You could even go so far as to say that these people are white knights who got burned.

Look at the senior members who have been around since before retail, before RTB. Even Bisjac and CaptMeat no longer receive the constant praise they did back in V10 and so on. They just go about their business and put in their 2 cents on whatever thread they feel like for a little while, and suddenly they're invisible again. (However, Capt doesn't really post/play much anymore I believe.)
