Author Topic: Meth: Not Even Once  (Read 3437 times)

Alright folks, look.
My family used to be hooked on meth left and right, I know how a meth head acts.
They never... Ever.... ever sleep
They don't think for stuff
Cooking is their life
They tear away from the family
They have high pain tolerance
They are just crazy and calm at the same time
They can't drive for stuff either

And their loving hilarious!

Marajuana, a non addictive drug versus Meth, a life ruiner among many other things.

You're basically saying all drugs are okay because people are lax with decriminalization (not even legalization) of a plant?
Your argument has shifted from people doing whatever they want to themselves with a single drug.
This argument would have been pretty valid if it was about crack, cocaine, ice (the big time stuff that you wanted legalized anyways)

I found only one hint on what your argument started at:
Rates of hard drug use (illicit drugs other than marijuana) among emergency room patients are substantially higher in states that have not decriminalized marijuana use. Experts speculate that this is because the lack of decriminalization may encourage the greater use of drugs that are even more dangerous than marijuana.

And even then, this proves that marijuana was the root (pun intended) of all evil.
And again, this deals with decriminalizing, which isn't legalization.

So unless your point was "People should be able to do whatever they want to themselves, therefore things should be decriminalized (not legal in any form; still allows such drugs to be fined/ permitted if caught with use) and be treated of their addiction instead of having rabid coke-heads running on the streets." I'm at a loss.
I've said "All Drugs" from the beginning. Addictive or not it is under your complete control whether or not you use drugs. Addiction is an excuse. Don't say "oh you've never been addicted to anything you don't know." Because Addictions are simple Mental Dependencies and should be treated as such. Not some big sob story. Also, Lets say that the government bans other things that are "risky behavior". There were 35.9 Million auto related deaths in the us last year. That should be the first to go. 2/3s of adults in the US are also overweight or obese too. Maybe we should induct some Exercise Police.

Now I have an idea where your "I hide my research good" backround comes from
It's a shame what people can do to effect others.

What do you mean.

EDIT: But yeah, i think I'll go to bed. It's obvious your idea for the greater good rests within "what if's" and "maybe so's"
Ah people weaseling out of arguments. If only I could count how many different and creative ways people do it. And if you are really care, my ideals for a greater good is called Libertarianism and rests on the wonders of free markets. Maybe you've heard of Ron Paul? the Cato Institute? John Stossel? Reason Magazine?

My opinion: meth shouldn't be allowed to the public.

plz stfu its opinion im imune to all ppl yellin at me now :panda:
It's not the opinion that troubles me.
Methamphetamine is an illegal substance, it is already "not allowed to the public".

I agree with dorkdotdan 100% it should be a persons choice to forget their own life up, not the governments. If they want to protect us from health hazards look at his most recent argument.

this stuff is forgeted up
