Honestly, you should just stop smoking weed, or live on a low salary. It's really difficult, I imagine, to do both. It makes the company look bad if their execs are known pot heads.

You need to know your interests and skill sets before you try to start a career, basically you don't need to know what you're going to do as a freshman/sophmore.  i'm pretty sure that you need to work at a record shop with a hippie if you want to smoke pot at work.

It's kinda funny, it's often the execs that are the potheads, sometimes it's cocaine. Simply because they can get away with it and they know people.
That said being a pothead won't get you a tight position or make you any money. But knowing the right people will.
