Vincent, your "default-ish" sounds really forced. Like you're trying to force your voice lower, but it's not within your range to reach the desired sound that you're trying for. So instead it sounds like a dying lizard.

It sounds to me like I just called Nerds R Us and got phone support from a barely pubescent fan of mystery novels, who went on to read me some of his favorite book instead of the usual "How can I help you".
