Author Topic: How fast can you run a mile?  (Read 2712 times)

So today I ended up doing my first timed mile, and I ended up with 6m 49s.
Not too terrible considering I haven't ever tried running a mile fast.
So anyways, how do you guys run a mile?

I can run 6 - 7 minute mile. I haven't been timed in a while though.

Do you do cross country or track?

EDIT:
Hold on, I got my time sheet here. This is from last year though (time trials start on friday.)

5m 56s.

First year of cross country. I've done other athletics before though.

Nice. How is it for you so far?

5m 36s best time recorded for me

I do both cross country and track.

I went over 1 km by walking in 8 minutes.

Never tried running a mile.

Im a fatass but the last time I was recorded I got 7:55

My fastest was 6m 21s which I could probably beat now

All Americans are fat and therefor slow and all Europeans use kilometers.
What we need is a European to run a mile and set a new world record.

5m 56s.

I've been doing Cross Country this year at Washington-Lee High School, and I was clocked with a 6:32 mile.

Pretty good, I'd say, 'specially without explicit training.

i don't think i can run a mile at all  :panda: :panda: :panda: :panda: :panda:

The best I ever did was 9:40 lol
