I would, but I think my printer is almost out of black ink.

Yep:

I would but I don't have a printer

regardless of system of transfer, the principle is the same. everyone types in some number (this one being an IP address) and a message, and it sends it to a printer to print out. it's like saying using skype calling is like calling on phones, even if it uses different devices or system of transferring data.
I don't see what you're saying, you kinda proved my point. What you're saying is like someone saying "Hey, look at this cool program I found called Skype" and you saying "Congrats you've discovered the telephone." They're completely different.

Whatever, it just seem similar.

this is the worst idea imaginable WHY WOULD YOU EVEN DO THIS OP

i would but i don't know how the forget to
If you have a wireless printer, turn it on. Then find out it's local IP, I did this by hitting the wireless button on mine and it told me. Then port forward port 9100 for it (Mine was 9100, most are 9100, I don't know if yours is, but it should be) THen just tell everyone your IP.

Doing something like this is like if you went to a bar full of alcoholics and saying "free beer"

Canon MG100 Series doesn't support it :C

lando must be beyond tired of all the richardtext appearifying out of his printer

God dammit Putty keeps randomly closing
