Author Topic: Fraps Recording In Game Sound Help (windows xp)  (Read 704 times)

Hello, this has been a major problem for me as I do ingame videos for blockland. I don't want to retouch and add each sound back in for videos, as that is a major inconvenience. I've followed many youtube videos for help but none of them actually work. I'm also using windows XP, anybody help me?

Try picking around with these settings

I think that's what isn't recording in-game sound

hey, try actually helping
LOL it actually is your problem. FRAPS is designed for Windows 7, and a lot of it's features don't even work on other OSs.

This. Windows XP is just so bad, most programs don't even work on it anymore

messing around with those options do nothing

It works on vista and hardly anything works on vista, well that's a lie, it does, just really really badly.

Having a handful successful captures of L4D2 with FRAPS on Windows XP, I can guarantee that XP is not the issue in case here.
I'd have no clue what's causing the poor audio quality, try updating your audio drivers perhaps?
