Since I actually was on an aircraft carrier once, this truly is not realistic. There can be numerous things you need to add, for example, a small dock-like thing where other ship members can board, a nice interior, a MUCH bigger strip for planes, and more. However, to do this you would have to start over and go all out of proportion and make it GIGANTIC, similar to the Blockland Titanic. You should add numerous rooms, possibly evented lights on the runway, a net so people don't fall off the side, and what's a good ship without a crew?
