Shadows & shaders on Blockland does NOT appear

I set everything to the max. level including shadows & shaders. They do not appear. I use my father's laptop, a Toshiba laptop, graphics card: ATL, 6-7 yrs. old. What other possible issues are out there that makes shadows & shaders not appear?

you need a new computer.

an ATI (im assuming) card with a 6-7 old laptop = not even as good as intel hd 3000.

intel HD 3000 i believe cant run shaders.

I'm using a very new Toshiba laptop with AMD Vizion dual-core (with optimizers). I get shadows, but not shaders, so I assume my GPU doesn't have GLSL library version 1.50 or higher.

Your computer does not run a good graphics card. I recommend getting a new one.

If you have a laptop its worse, youre gonna need a whole new computer.

6-7 year old laptop will always equal new computer required.

blockland looks the exact same as it did before v21 for me shadows-wise, i don't know much about my computer though
