Author Topic: The Isaac Thread - Hurricane Questions and Information  (Read 2095 times)

I'd like to ask something similar, I've always wondered about people who live in areas with extreme weather events. See living in Southern England, the worst we get is a bit of snow or a heat wave but I am genuinely curious about the idea of a hurricane destroying everything you have.

Doesn't it ever make you want to move?

I get asked this a lot, and personally, no.

I've been so used to this type of weather all my life that it's like an annual routine. Plus, this doesn't happen all the time and we usually have long dry spells in where the weather is generally good.

they can be scary. if you aren't prepared they can be pretty bad.

mostly you just make sure you have enough supplies to last you a few days 'just in case' something happens and then you're at the mercy of the weather

A good example of this was Wilma.

Would you survive wearing scuba gear?

This isn't New Orleans.

But I love you
"please pay attention to me, love me, please."

Could i answer too because its going to hit me aswell?

Worth a try. :c

sharksuit
A house collapses on you trapping you and your oxygen runs out.

Georgia might get skimmed by it too.

But not as badly (I hope)

It may become a Cat 2 or 3 when it reaches the Gulf.

It may just stay/become a tropical storm by the time it gets here.

I've updated the OP with extra information.

It's so dark... All of the shutters are closed. No-one gets in my house or out.
