no, electroclash stems from other genres like house, electro, synthpop, and chiptune. and yes, madeon makes electropop, house, french house, and progressive house.

the drop also has some prog house elements but at that point it's mostly french house.

Madeon is definitely house.

I can't even begin to understand why people would bust into a thread titled "need some good dubstep" and start complaining about how dubstep sucks. It's just a waste of time, you could easily foresee all the stuff you would get thrown back at you. And it looks ignorant too.
