Author Topic: What kind of stuff should be in a medical kit?  (Read 1789 times)

I was thinking "being I am getting hurt so much, maybe I need a real medical kit instead of relying on knifes and lighters" so I am asking you guys what I should include in a legit kit.

duct tape and dora band-aids.

A jar so if you get bit by a spider, you can contain it and a doctor can Identify it.

I'm actually being serious.
Like a serious medical kit, not a half assed redneck med kit

Bandages, betadine/alcohol, bandaids, paracetamol, etc.

I don't think you plan on being shot any time soon so...

ibuprofen
band-aid
tweezers(for when you get a sliver off your deck)

a knife wouldn't help unless you are getting shot everyday or something. and a lighter is just as useless, trying to burn a wound closed is stupid and usually doesn't even work that well. the only time you can burn a wound closed is if its something small, in which case you are better of just leaving it.

just get a couple band-aids and some wet wipes.

>entire life is based around half assed redneck style

Isopropyl Alcohol
Bandaids
Antibiotic ointment

Maybe those things that hold together gaping wounds if you're getting hurt badly

I've used one all my life, maybe I should get something a bit better set up...

Alright so basically I need disinfectant stuff, bandages/bandaids, pain killers, and tweezers ontop of what I already got.

Lighter helps cauterize the wound therefor making it stop bleeding thus speeding the healing process.
And the knife is just in case I need to cut something out.
