Author Topic: bot events doesnt works  (Read 1462 times)

If i downloaded Bot Events from RTB, and i put it into Add-Ons folder it doesnt works, i cant enable it in add-ons folder, please help

Badspot removed it from the game because it was buggy and abusable.
Don't worry, a new bot events are being worked on.

People would use
onbotspawn>bot>setaiproperties>aggressive
onbotdetectenemy>player>kill
to kill everybody on the server.
because nobody uses admin only events.

i see why it would be abusable, but the new version, will it include some parts of the old one?
so you can make bots for RPG's or so?

If you use Winrar or 7zip, heres the instructions:

On the START, search up Event_Bots click the one in Documents section.

Then, you click RTBinfo once or twice. Where is says Version: 9, press backspace on the 9 then put 8

When you start BL, it will ask you to update the Bot events. Reject the update by clicking the X at the top corner right.

You should have Event_Bots in the add-on enabeler.

Bot events has been crc'd (failbin'd)

It's not going to work unless somebody makes it work.

I'm not going to be the one that tells people how to make crc'd addons work.

How to fix this.

Rename the zip file to something like Event_Editedbots.

Go inside the zip file and you will see a .txt file named "namecheck". Open it and edit the inside text to what you have named the zip file to. In this case it would be Event_Editedbots if you choose to name the zip file that.

Put it back in the Add-On folder and enable it.

Note: Badpot CRC'd this for a reason. So don't release it to the public. I only told you the fix because bot events are really fun if used correctly.
