Home Row Typing

I typed with two fingers until I took a typing class and decided to start typing on home row.

For me, typing in my general sentence-adaptive style is faster than typing with a home row.

Another thing is, I can't find a good set of controls for Blockland because I'm left-handed. I don't like using ASWD because it feels uncomfortable.

I have to use the arrow keys. :(

Do you use your mouse on the left side of your keyboard or the right side? I'm left handed but I grew up using my mouse on the right side, so despite my use of the arrow keys when I was younger, I find it more comfortable to use WASD.

There is no "correct" way to do it. They teach you that because it helps you break away from typing with 1 finger.

I don't even think I use a certain pattern, if you count the "hunt and peck" method as a pattern. But it works out very well for me, I type very fast with it.

The only position I have my fingers on my keyboard is my first finger on "w" and my middle finger on "a". I don't have my other hand on they keyboard unless I'm typing.

I type with my fingers readied on nothing, I just go to where I am typing.
Somehow I am the fastest in my damn school; I'm in middle school and a high school teacher came to see this.

i type in home row because that's how i learned when they made me take type to learn 2 in second grade
and finish the game
