Author Topic: Need to know the name of a certain type of clothing  (Read 809 times)

Ok, so does anyone know if there is a specific name for the types of button up short sleeved shirts that people like some people in the military wear?

a...vest?
or possibly a overshirt?

a polo? a dress shirt? do you have a picture or something?

?

no, that's a polo. i mean, the entire shirt has buttons going all the way down. usually on the shoulder, there is some kind of patch or something that marks someone's authority or rank or whatever.

now, if i had a picture, i wouldn't need to know the name. i would be able to google search an image if i had the name.

A dress shirt is what Id think of

no, sorry.

whatever you're talking about, they're not always white, and even then, the white ones don't have a separate name from the rest other than "white" being in front of the regular name

if you guys must know, i'm in some sort of aerospace high school, and that is basically the uniform.
