The loading image when you don't have the map is just a default gradient option in Photoshop (and other image editors too probably idk). A lot of art and some sounds from the game are just stock sounds as well.

That sky is a preset in Bryce, a program similar to Terragen. All the default skies in Blockland are presets in Bryce.
