Info

Doctor Who is a British television show (that is now airing more in America). It features a time and space travelling hero with the species of a timelord who goes by the name of 'The Doctor' or just 'Doctor'. This timelord when dying has a feature to change his appearance and 'regenerate' (allowing a different actor to take the role), though if in the process he his shot or killed in some other way he will die forever. His race was killed long ago in a timewar, a giant war between the timelords and the Daleks, the Doctor's most feared enemy. Even though the Doctor was a rouge timelord he still misses his counterparts. He travels in a bigger on the inside police box named 'The TARDIS (Time And Relative Dimension In Space)'. Normally he has one or two companions (ranging from a human, to an alien, to a talking tin dog) with him who eventually die or leave. The show started in 1963 and ended in 1989. It was when revived in 2005. So far the show has had 11 Doctors and the current Doctor is played by Matt Smith.

I can't wait for the new episode. Being the dinonerd I am I'm also very excited for Dinosaurs on a Spaceship.

7:20pm BBC One tonight! : D

Looking forward to it!

Still a little bit disappointed (or rather annoyed), that they decided to start the show in September this year, rather than start in Easter as they've done for the past 6 series.

Still, it's better than what they did last year, doing half of it in the Easter and half now.
I get that it was a way of transitioning between the change in schedule, but it was just a bit awkward.

I've only watched like a dozen episodes of some season or other but I like it

Why did no one tell me Peter Davison played the doctor once?!

About eight hours and then I get to watch things and get on MSN and spoil the entire thing before Jookia sees it in Australia-land seven days later.

My sister thinks Christopher Eccleston (The 9th doctor) is the best.

The 10th doctor was my favorite. Still really looking forward to that tonight :D

I think I remember hearing my sister say he was her favourite, because he acted the most serious out of the modern 3.
