Its been 3 hours since I took nyquil, and Im not tired yet, lol.

Nyquil is not a sleep aid, Nyquil has a lot of other stuff in it for colds, flu, etc. If you're unable to sleep then take something such as Unisom or talk to a doctor.

Nyquil isn't a dedicated sleep aid, but Doxylamine succinate IS a short-term tranquilizer.

And Im not taking it to go to sleep, Im taking it because I have the symptoms of a cold.
