Author Topic: how the forget do i lucid dream  (Read 1490 times)

how long will it take, i usually move a TON TON TON while trying to go to bed

and will i have any side effects from living in my fantasy world

btw how do i do it

loooooots of patience and plenty of nights

try every method you can

it usually takes like 20 minutes, but that seems like a stuffload of time to be perfectly still in bed. i usually end up twitching and then rage

also sleep paralysis can be scary as forget i heard, ignore the scary monsters or the angry soldiers slamming on your door

You don't, people are just disillusioned into thinking they are able to control their dreams when in reality their dreams are making them think they are controlling it.

Lucidception

Try taking the Valerian Root, and Passion Flower supplements. If you can, you should get the Now Foods brand, they are the best. If you don't lucid dream from that you will have very vivid dreams. Plus a deep sleep!  :cookieMonster:

There is no one way to do it.

There are no side affects.

Please Google the following:  DEILD method, WBTB method, reality checking.

Research is key.

I always thought the concept seemed either a bit uninteresting or sometimes scary.

I dunno, I just prefer the idea of having natural dreams. Most of mine relate in some way to what is on my mind anyway.

For example, if I'm anxious about college or whatnot, I'll have dreams about it.
I've got some work to be done for college when I get back (in 2 days time :3), which I haven't done.
And for most nights this week, I've had a dream that I've been at some form of my college (or older schools), and have either not known where my classes are, or not had my work with me.

Plus, sometimes if I play too much of a video game, my dreams actually revolve around it. Same with reading books.
I had a vaguely Game of Thrones dream some time ago, and when I was playing Mount & Blade: Warband for ages, I had dreams about it...

Which is actually kinda sad when you think about it. :3

also my dreams are usually torn into shreds if i remember them at all, could i still lucid dream quickly?

i'd be able to lucid dream if i didn't forget that i was trying to set a habit the second i wake up

i do that method where you keep looking at your hand at random times of the day

i've gotten into this habit where i look down at my hand and count my fingers like every 30 minutes or so

then in my dreams when i count my fingers i usually have too many or too little and then i realize im dreaming

boom instant lucid dream

sleep paralysis

no thanks

I dunno.
I just will myself to lucid dream whenever I want. It works 75% of the time.

the only times I was ever able to half-lucid dream was during vacation - go to sleep at 3am, wake up at 6am to parents or siblings talking, lapse in and out of sleep - try to focus on one-word subjects (like "love" you prevert). It works less than half the time.
