Author Topic: Why do people still want to be national socialists?  (Read 1760 times)

How the forget did you handicaps go into a "whenether russia did half a damn" argument. Looks like I have to bring in some motherloving WORLD WAR II HISTORY ACCORDING TO RUSSIA.

Germany to start with, just broke past the russian border and began shooting stuff, Russia didn't get the hint until a few hours. Now at first Russia was losing, they had to go back until they practically had nowhere to backpedal. Moscow was right behind them. Instant morale and motivation. Whabam.

(And guess what, a city was completely blockaded in. Like, completely. Shipments had to sneak through the back door, supplies were few. That hell lasted for a year until the blockade got flat assaulted)

...And after cleansing their territory of national socialists, Russia went the extremes, and began shooting national socialists left and right in other countries, and finally flaring the huge red flag over the Reichstag. At that point the national socialists just gave up and surrendered.

Hope you guys are informed now.

It's fascinating to hear how Russia now talks about WWII. I still think nobody's gives the Red Army enough credit though. They did the equivalent of storming DC and taking Capitol Hill at Berlin, and America was too busy giving the rest of the allies reacharounds to help.

You act like the rest of the allies could do what the USSR did. America and Great Britain were not nearly as used to fighting in closed conditions like Berlin. Who had the kind intimidation the Soviets could produce? If the USA or Great Britain tried to take Berlin unassisted, the two sides would be too evenly matched and Riddler would have time to flee with his leaders. The Reds were the greatest power on the battlefield and you know it.
