Yeah, Samsung has probably the most appealing and competitive Android phone compared to the iPhone. Though that isn't exactly a coincidence. 

But the thing with Android is any company can pop out a stuffty phone with the minimum hardware requirements and slap it on the device. Definitely have to go high end if you want a quality Android phone.

And this creates a problem for Android app developers because the specs and even screen size can vary so much between phones.

i've got an android. never had an iphone. the android market is lacking, i can't find any games i really like. i don't want some tiny "lol throw birds at stuff LOLLL!!!" or "run from monkeys". i just want something i can forget around in, put down, and resume later. something that will captivate me. i don't know if iphone has any games like that (i don't assume so) but at the very least it has more variety than the android market.

The android market hides stuff your phone cannot run. If if there is a high-end game on there and your phone cannot run it then you need a better android phone. Try searching Grand Theft Auto 3 on the market.

Android is very customizable. It would be awesome if you could build a custom android phone like you could a pc.
