Caps lock not working?

On a server, pressing Caps lock to obviously make a caps letter, nothing happens. Sometimes it works, but almost 9/10 times, it doesn't work.

Any fixes?

It never works for me. I consider it a blessing as I never accidentally press it and then have to backspace everything.

It's really annoying though when you're mad at someone and/or you want to use CAPS LOCK to emphasize something and it just comes out like this:

I think this is a problem with the Torque engine that's always existed. May be wrong, but I'm at least 90% sure that's what it is.

Also using all caps is a pretty piss-poor way of dealing with someone you're mad at. Makes you look like a kid, lol.

I never use caps lock. When I want to talk in all caps, I hold shift.

I always thought Baddy made the game like this, to reduce the possibility of text spam.  Just like you can't hold a key down to have it repeat a letter.

what if you ARE a kid and the person you're dealing with is ALSO a kid :o

it's also useful though when trying to get people's attention in servers:
Astatine: server is shutting down
will only get a few people's attention

Astatine: SERVER IS SHUTTING DOWN
will get a lot more people's attention

Well yes, that is a good time to use it, but using caps to express your feelings in the midst of server activity, just makes for spam.  I only ever use it when I am team leader for a TDM and no one can see what I typed because of the stuff storm of unneeded messages.
