If he wants to stick with if else, he should remove the brackets though.

Time is irrelevant, in fact since he already wrote out a ton of if/else statements it could be argued that it would take less time

A problem was fixed. If you're still having problems, don't just say "please help"
Provide a description of the problem, and your current code.



And normally I would have either removed the brackets, or switched to a switch...case but since this guy is just learning I kept things at what I know he's already familiar with.
