I used to have that when I was a kid.

In my nightmares, it would happen a lot

For example, in my dream I was walking towards my parents bedroom and everything had a dark feeling and it was black and white almost. I decided to step into my brother's room on the way there, and for a split second I saw a hand of some sort in his closet. RIGHT after that happened, a loud noise pierced the dream. It sounded like a default 3xOsc wave or something just played. It didn't stop and I had to force myself to wake up.
