ok jokes/insults aside, back on topic

Well in modern times people just turn off their radar to avoid detection, so passive sensors is the way to go.
Anyways we should, y'know, like, scan the loving ship or something. We should at least see if all power is down before we get what we want.

: Ensign, take us in slowly and see what we can find out with passive sensors on.
: Got it, sir.
...
: So do we see anything?
: A little bit. It looks like there may or may not be a life form on board.
: A life form? As in just one?
: It's either one, two, or none. Also, we're picking up something similar to ferronis signals, but that can't be right.
: Maybe dark ferronis use a lot of stolen cardalonian tech, who knows. Keep taking us in.

We must go deeper farther in

if you know what I mean

send calvyn, then if he sees nothing move closer

send calvyn, then if he sees nothing move closer
not enough people seem to want to do this
Keep taking us in.
Keep taking us in.
We must go farther in

The Privateers Blade slowly moves towards the ship, when it suddenly opens fire.

                                : The hell is that?
: It's firing at us, sir. Looks like heavy grade enegry weaponry.
: Battle stations. Raise shields.
: So, how are we supposed to get the cargo without blowing up the entire damn ship?

Shoot only its weapons.

+engines if possible
i doubt the engines work, why would it just be sitting there that entire time.

try contacting the ship, see if that works, if not then can we really just target the weapons with minimal damage to the rest of the ship? we def dont want to use any of our rockets or whatever. it might also be a good idea to send in a boarding party (if we can do so without getting them blown up). because there is probably just 1 or a handful of crewmember operating the weapons system if they aren't trying to move or anything.

Determine size of ship

Because it's an ambush?

Fire back at weapons. Shooting the engines may cause a chain reaction 'sploding the ship apart.

I so saw this coming...

Attempt to establish contact.  Do not fire back unless hit.

Also, look around for rubble.  It seems that with this kind of trap, others may have fallen as well.

That might be a valid point, but I've always thought is was a good idea (blame star wars battlefront 2)

^^^just do this or something along the lines of this

Also we should probably grab that giant exclamation point before it falls into nothingness
