And throw away the only reason they won't blow us up? We can claim Sedric's aboard and 'show proof' but nothing is guaranteeing he will cooperate to show himself onscreen, much less give himself up to us. Either way the Iconians will board us.

Probably best thing to do is to somehow get him off his ship onto the planet using a shuttle then make a show of beaming the ship into our cargo bay.

tractor sedric's ship near your loading bay but don't let him in just yet. this will force the iconian to not fire upon you and so you can blast them while the ferronis take the brunt of the damage.
