Your mom is just trying to get you into good habits and get a good life later on.

The reason for her harsh punishments is because she's trying to make sure you will do your homework so that you won't miss any or get a bad grade.

Why is it difficult you ask?
1. I get a lot of homework every day (math, english, history, biology, finnish...) and i have a hard time rememberiingg everything

2.I could write down what i got for homework, but i don't have the time, because i gotta get to the other class (we have really short breaks)

Write it down when they give you the hw. If they give it to you at the end of the class, loving write it anyway. You can run to the next class if you have to. She may be overreacting by yelling but you still have to do your homework.

Anyway being grounded for 1 week is bull. You should be grounded for 5 months with no food, electronics, water and any connection to the outside world. That'll teach you a lesson to do your homework mister!
