Gmod 13 beta- bone manipulator not working?

I noticed that something odd happened to the bone manipulator in Gmod 13 beta...
it isn't working.
I'd open the C menu and right click an NPC and select "manipulate bones" from the menu, and nothing would happen. No bones would appear. No console errors. I've tried restarting steam and my computer, and verifying gmod 13 beta AND the normal gmod's files. Nothing seems to be working.

EXTRA INFO:
-It does seem to still work in multiplayer.
-This seemed to begin right after I tried to bone manipulate an SNPC from the Skyrim SNPC Pack (a Dwarven Spider).

Any help is appreciated!

I have the same damn issue and i cant fix it for some reason. game cache fix does nothing.
