A majority of android owners don't even drop their phones on accident so this isn't even a issue.
It was clever for Apple to reinforce the iPhone seeing as a majority of them are sold to careless children anyway lol

I have to say that breaking your phone is almost 100% user error. I have never broken a phone or other portable electronic device ever, and in the case of the iPhone I had a 3G and 3GS with no case on me at all times at a physical labor job where it is much more likely to be damaged. My 3GS slipped out of my hand once (my fault!) onto concrete and the worst it suffered was a minor scratch on the casing
